Dr. Alla A. Sakharova, a dual board certified endocrinologist with over two decades of experience, is a part of the esteemed medical team at Michigan Endocrine Consultants, affiliated with Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the clinic, further enhancing the quality of care provided to patients in Oakland County and other areas of metro Detroit.

Born in Ukraine, Dr. Sakharova began her medical journey at Vinnitsya State Medical University, where she obtained her Medical Degree in 1997. Following her graduation, she made the bold decision to immigrate to the United States to be with her family and pursue further training in the field of medicine. Dr. Sakharova’s dedication to her craft led her to successfully complete her residency in internal medicine at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital from 2000 to 2003, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the prestigious University of Michigan Health System from 2003 to 2005. There she has been involved in a variety of research activities related mainly to pituitary disorders and diabetes.

Dr. Sakharova’s commitment to excellence is evident in her dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She remains at the forefront of her field by actively participating in professional organizations such as the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, where she continues to expand her knowledge and stay updated on the latest advancements in endocrinology.

Dr. Sakharova, and other physicians in the practice are actively involved in teaching and working with Internal medicine residents at Corewell East William Beaumont Hospital  as well as being part of the Endocrinology curriculum for Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
