Dr. Ferrer-Gonzalez is a board-certified pulmonologist who specializes in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. He is currently practicing at Aventura Hospital & Medical Center in Aventura, Florida. His acclaimed career in medicine began in 1994 when he earned his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences Santiago de Cuba. Thereafter, he became board-certified in pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine - a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. In addition to English, Dr. Ferrer-Gonzalez speaks Spanish.
