Instead of tooth whitening gel, you can ask your dentist about desensitizing gel. One company that makes this gel is called Opalescence. Putting this gel in the tray and then wearing them for an amount of time determined by the gel manufacturer will likely help with your tooth sensitivity more than the toothpaste you have been using.
