If it’s just one or two high spots, the dentist can remove some acrylic in those areas. If multiple, the denture may need the entire acrylic reclined. READ MORE

The “gums” actually just follow the height of the bone, so you are losing the bone around the teeth. If not managed, it could lead to mobility and loss of teeth. Get a sonicare toothbrush and get your teeth professionally cleaned. READ MORE
How does the dentist treat sensitive teeth?
Try sensodyne toothpaste. It takes 2 weeks to start to feel the effects, and if you stop using it, the effects wear off, but it’s a good toothpaste. Severe cases, we increase the gums in that area to cover the root of the tooth. READ MORE
Do dental sealants need to be reapplied?
I do not love sealants unless placed by a pediatric dentist. A poorly place sealant is 10 times worse than no sealant at all. They leak and we dentists can’t tell until the cavity is large. I’m not putting sealants in any of my children. READ MORE
What toothpaste is best for enamel restoration?
Any toothpaste with Fluoride. Once the enamel is lost, it is never "restored,” the fluoride just stops the hole from getting bigger. Never use a toothpaste that says “whitening.” They generally have baking soda in them and actually take away enamel because they're too abrasive. READ MORE
How do you clean under an implant bridge?
Get interdental/proxy brushes. They look like a glorified pipe cleaner. Bend the brush to 90 degrees and clean under the implants READ MORE
