C. Bradley (Brad) Miller, DDS, the proud owner and operator of Miller Dentistry, has dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence in cosmetic and family dentistry and a deep commitment to community service. Since 1992, Dr. Miller has built a reputation for providing beautiful, comfortable, durable dental treatment while building trusting relationships with his patients. His story, marked by a passion for service and a diverse array of accomplishments, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those around him.
Dr. Miller' grew up in Columbia, Missouri. During his foundational years, he not only excelled academically but also distinguished himself as a standout athlete. Earning four year letters in swimming and serving as team captain, Dr. Miller achieved prestigious All-State accolades in the 200IM, 500 Free, and 200 Medley Relay. His dedication to excellence in athletics was complemented by his involvement in the varsity cross country team and recognition as a member of the National Honor Society.
A pivotal moment in his high school career was receiving the American Legion Award, which underscored his leadership and character. As Class Treasurer, Dr. Miller showcased his financial stewardship early on, while also demonstrating his musical talents as a member of the school band. His mastery of instruments such as the concert tuba, jazz trombone, and marching Sousaphone earned him a state-level 1 rating. Additionally, Dr. Miller's commitment to service was evident through his participation in Key Club and the Boy Scouts of America.
After graduating high school the top two percent in 1984, Dr. Miller pursued a Degree in Secondary Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, focusing on Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
His leadership skills emerged as he served as Rush Chairman for the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and participated in multiple honor societies, including Omicron Delta Kappa and Kappa Delta Pi.
Driven by a keen interest for dentistry, Dr. Miller continued his education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he graduated "With Distinction" in 1992, ranking 5th in his class of 85. His talents extended beyond the dental chair, as he served as yearbook editor and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
In his professional journey, Dr. Miller has been an active member of various dental and healthcare organizations, including the Crown Council, Top of the Table MasterMind Group, MidAmerican Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of LASER Dentistry. His leadership roles have included serving as a past member of the Missouri Dental Association's House of Delegates and president of the Columbia Dental Society.. Additionally, Dr. Miller founded and presided over the Columbia Dental Study Club, fostering a collaborative environment among dental professionals.
Dr. Miller's commitment to community service has been a defining aspect of his life. He has participated in numerous charitable activities, including annual dental missions with Mexican Medical Ministries, volunteering with Donated Dental Services, and providing care through the Special Olympics Special Smiles program. His dedication to public health is further exemplified by his work with the City/County Health Department as a volunteer dentist.
Beyond his professional and volunteer efforts, Dr. Miller has held leadership roles within the community, including serving as president of the Board of Directors for Woodhaven, Rotary Board Member and Columbia Multisport Club officer, His Christian faith is the guiding force to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Dr. Miller's commitment to environmental sustainability is evident through his participation in the Adopt-a-Spot program, and he has continued to support youth through the Boy Scouts of America. His passion for the outdoors is reflected in his diverse interests, which include motorcycle touring, sailing, boating, scuba diving, snowboarding, skiing, camping, hiking, and triathlon. He enjoys the thrill of swim/bike/run challenges and has pursued hobbies such as pistol shooting and participating in the Columbia Entertainment Company pit orchestra.
Throughout his life, Dr. Brad Miller has embodied the values of leadership, service, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. In 2022, Dr Miller sold his 30 year old reputable and successful private practice in Columbia, Missouri and moved with his family to League City, Texas.
