Get to know Family Physician Dr. Marjan Saba, who serves patients in Inglewood, California.

A trusted family physician, Dr. Saba works with patients at Friends & Family Medical Clinic in Inglewood, California. She specializes in family medicine, which she chose because she looks at the human body as a whole, not as body parts, and wanted to be able to manage all medical needs of her patients.

Her patient approach is very warm and caring, and she takes all of her patient’s needs very personally. She has created a warm environment with a very friendly, bilingual staff that puts patients first. The entire office works as a team to help support each patient in their healing journey.

Located in the heart of the Centinela Hospital Medical Campus, the leading health professionals at Friends & Family Medical Clinic are dedicated to helping patients achieve their wellness objectives by combining skill and expertise that spans the entire wellness spectrum. The office utilizes advanced diagnostic technologies, with an onsite lab, and diagnostic equipment for patients.

An Iran native, Dr. Saba earned her medical degree at the Babol University of Health Sciences Faculty of Medicine in 2001. She practiced as a general practitioner in a rural area of Iran for 3 years before moving to the United States, after which she completed her internship and residency in family medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center in 2004 and 2006, respectively.

After graduating, armed with the extensive medical experience from her years of practice, she opened a state-of-the-art family medicine facility in the heart of Inglewood. Her office is completely electronic and paperless. She uses her hands-on knowledge of Eastern medicine and blends it with modern Western medicine. She utilizes these two distinct approaches to establish her own unique connection with each patient. 

Licensed to practice medicine in California, Dr. Saba is affiliated with Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center – Torrance and Centinela Hospital Medical Center.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
