Why do I have numbness in my face after an anesthesia?
The residual numbness is most likely due to the temporary disruption of the nerves from the surgery, not the anesthesia. Some of the nerves are pressed on by the surgical instruments and may get a bit boggy. Should be temporary READ MORE
Is it risky to undergo anesthesia with a common cold?
You should postpone the procedure until you no longer have the cold unless the surgery is urgent (excessive bleeding, infection,etc). The secretions from the cold in your lungs and throat may impair your ability to breathe during the anesthesia and cause complications. READ MORE
