An author and co-author of over 26 US and international patents involving innovations related to improving patient safety, Dr. Kalser was recently awarded a U.S. patent for a device used in prostate cryoablation. He is currently involved in product development of a urinary catheter that will considerably reduce injuries to patients during hospitalization. This device will lessen complications and improve the efficacy and safety of prostate cryoablation.
