Dr. Morris is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon whose areas of expertise include the lower extremities, including traumatic and congenital conditions of the foot and ankle, as well as total joint replacements of the ankle, knee, and hip. Specializing in arthroscopic procedures of the lower extremities, he is the owner & operator of Morris Orthopedic in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Morris Orthopedic provides quality comprehensive orthopedic care and has set the standard for orthopedic excellence in Southern Nevada for more than 20 years. Whether it is the treatment of acute, chronic, adolescent, personal injury, or work-related injuries, Dr. Morris and his team strive to provide optimal health care until patients complete their journey back to good health.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Morris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from San Diego State University in 1990. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1994. His surgical internship and residency in orthopedic surgery were completed at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit. He subsequently completed his fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
During his fellowship, Dr. Morris trained under Dr. Bill Hamilton, the orthopedic surgeon for the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and School of American Ballet. In addition, in September of 2000, he received further training in foot and ankle trauma surgery at Heidelberg University in Hannover, Germany prior to joining Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons, as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
For many years, Dr. Morris has treated professional athletes and performers from many of the largest and most popular shows on the Las Vegas Strip, including Celine Dion’s “A New Day” and several Cirque Du Soleil productions.

Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
A member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, Dr. Morris has lectured and written many presentations on various topics in orthopedics, such as his most recent presentation on Ankle Biomechanics in Relation to Total Ankle Replacement.
