Dr. White is the Founder of Midtown Psychiatry and TMS Center in Houston, Texas. “Our Center provides an integrative treatment experience for those with mental illness. This approach provides our patients with a more comprehensive analysis of the potential factors that may influence an individual’s health and mental health. It also provides a more customized plan of treatment that incorporates the interplay of body, mind, and spirit and therefore can be much more effective than traditional medicine, which takes a narrower view. Dr. White earned her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1992. She then went on to complete her residency in psychiatry at the Baylor College of Medicine, followed by her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the same College. 

Dr. White is board-certified in both adult psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

Dr. White is certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) – a procedure that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. Dr. White takes an integrative approach by helping patients make changes in their internal perception of the environment through coaching, therapy, and medication, as well as in their environment itself through changes in diet, exercise level, and interpersonal communication. She is highly trained in pharmacology, pharmacodynamic therapy, and neuro-linguistic programming.

Dr. White has appeared live on a number of television programs to discuss issues related to suicide, depression, community tragedy, psychiatric treatment, and many more issues.
