Get to know Dentist Dr. Donald M. Jackson, who serves patients in Perryville, Maryland.

Dr. Jackson is a general dentist specializing in dental procedures and services at his private dental practice in Perryville, Maryland. Since 1972, he has been working with patients to provide the best dental care with a goal to keep the teeth healthy and the smile bright. 

From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, he is equipped to handle all dental needs. With years of experience coupled with genuine concern for his patients, he believes that informed patients are better prepared to make decisions about their health and well-being. 

Upon graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland in 1972, Dr. Jackson immediately went into private practice in Perryville, Maryland. He served as an associate of Dr. Raymond Goepfrich. During this time, he completed his general practice residency at the Delaware State Hospital in New Castle, Delaware. He also served as a staff dentist at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Perry Point, Maryland from 1973 until 1975. 

To advance his professional efforts, he remains an active member of the following organizations: the Maryland State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Harford / Cecil Dental Society (past President), the Brandywine Dental Study Club, the Oral Tissue Study Club, the Elks Club, and the Community Fire Company of Perryville.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
