A board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in hand surgery, Dr. Muirhead is a part of the esteemed team of medical professionals at Roper St. Francis Physician Partners. Graduating from Dartmouth College, he went on to complete his medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, followed by an orthopedic residency at Brown University in Rhode Island, where he honed his skills in orthopedic surgery. His fellowship training in hand surgery further complements his robust credentials, making him a leader in his field.

At Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics, Dr. Muirhead will focus on various specialties within hand and orthopedic surgery. His areas of interest include carpal tunnel issues, Dupuytren's contractures, fingernail injuries and deformities, hand and wrist cysts, tendon injuries, tendonitis, and trigger finger.
