Dr. Stegner is a licensed, board-certified adult psychiatrist at Serenity Mental Health Centers – Biltmore Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.

With over two decades of experience, she offers all her patients an understanding and compassionate approach to patient care. She takes pride in being part of a group which provides the best treatments psychiatry has to offer, including ketamine therapy, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), and medication management. 

With a passion for helping patients take back their lives from mental illness, Dr. Stegner believes in a patient-centric approach driven by empathy. For a patient to be successful, a strong therapeutic relationship which supports mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness is paramount to the process of healing, as is active patient collaboration and a commitment to creating change.

Born in Fort Collins, a university town an hour north of Denver, Dr. Stegner earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2002. She then went on to complete her residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, specializing in general adult psychiatry. 

Board-certified in psychiatry, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Previous to joining Serenity, Dr. Stegner gained valuable experience as an attending in-patient physician at several award-winning hospitals in Denver, Colorado.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

Outside of work, Dr. Stegner is the proud mother of two lovely daughters. She enjoys interior design, DIY home projects, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
