Effective April 1, 2023, She separated from Ferris Family Medicine to own and operate her own clinic, BLUEBONNET FAMILY MEDICINE HEALTH & WELLNESS CLINIC in Ennis, Texas with a secondary part time location in Corsicana. She specializes in preventive health and encourages her patients to adopt healthy lifestyle habits through diet and exercise. Additionally, she is well-versed in the use of acupuncture and has incorporated its advantages into her practice. Dr. Perrin is a staunch proponent of the belief that if patients are given the tools to take charge of their own health, it can help to avert numerous diseases. Get to know Family Physician Dr. Davey M. Perrin, who serves patients in Ferris, Texas.
Dr. Perrin is a qualified family physician who has been working for Ferris Family Medicine over the past three decades in a number of different roles.
Focusing primarily on preventative health, she educates her patients on diet and exercise. She is also trained in acupuncture and has integrated its benefits into her practice.
A firm believer that if patients are empowered to take charge of and care for their own health, certain diseases can be prevented. Dr. Perrin is proud to be making a difference for the people and community she grew up with, and loves working in a welcoming environment that feels like family.
While attending her undergraduate classes, Dr. Perrin began as a medical assistant. In 2005, she graduated medical school from the Medical University of the Americas in St. Kitts/Nevis then went on to perform her residency in family medicine at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland in 2008. A year later, in 2009, she returned to work for Ferris Family Medicine.
With a commitment to her speciality, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
Holding a license to practice medicine in Texas, Dr. Perrin is affiliated with Methodist Charlton Medical Center, Baylor Scott and White Medical Center-Waxahachie, and Ennis Regional Medical Center.
On a professional level, she is an active member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
