Dr. Desse, a skilled internist, is affiliated with EXCELth Family Health Center located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The EXCELth Primary Care Network offers comprehensive services ranging from pediatrics to geriatric care, as well as, behavioral health services, care coordination, social services, dental care, and pharmacy services. Services  are provided by a multidisciplinary team including board-certified or board-eligible physicians, board certified nurse practitioners, and other skilled allied-health professionals.

Back in 1978, Dr. Desse graduated with his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy – State University of Haiti. He then relocated to the United States, performing his internship with Tulane University Hospitals & Clinics in 1986.

With over four decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
