Furthering his training, he performed his residency in radiology at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center in 1991, his fellowship in body imaging at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center in 1992, and his fellowship in interventional radiology at Emory University Hospital in 1993.
Demonstrating competence, Dr. Sandhu is board-certified in vascular and interventional radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
