He then completed the Fifth Pathway program at The New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY (1998-1999). His postgraduate training includes his internal medicine residency (2000-2003) and fellowship in hematology-oncology (2003-2006) conducted at the Renaissance School of Medicine at State University of New York Stonybrook in Stonybrook, NY.
