For over two decades, Dr. Pineiro has been practicing pediatrics and adolescent medicine in beautiful south Florida and all of his years in practice have been with Children’s Physicians.
Proud of its role as the first pediatric practice in northern Palm Beach County, the credo of Children’s Physicians has always been to offer professional and compassionate pediatric care in a pleasant and non-threatening environment. The practice places emphasis on continuing medical education through seminars and pediatric educational meetings both in the United States and abroad.
Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Pineiro graduated with his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at East Central University in 1985. He then completed his clinical externship rotations in Miami, after which he spent 3 years performing his residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s Hospital in Northeast Ohio.
The next 2 years were spent at the University of Maryland where Dr. Pineiro did a fellowship in adolescent medicine and worked as an assistant professor of pediatrics. In 1993, he and his spouse moved to Palm Beach Gardens and started a family.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
