How long should I take antibiotics for bronchitis?
Most of the bronchitis do not need an antibiotic. In some cases (like in people who have COPD/emphysema), we use antibiotics, and the duration is variable according to what antibiotic is used. Typically, it's 5 to 7 days. READ MORE

Not all the time. Advanced cases will eventually need replacement. If it's not advanced, it might feel better with other measures, like physical therapy, simple pain medications, injections inside the joint, etc. READ MORE
What medication helps with bronchitis?
Most of the bronchitis are due to a virus, and do not need antibiotics. You need treatment based on symptoms, something for cough/mucus (many available over the counter). Sometimes, if wheezing or so, you might need inhalers (prescribed). If you're a smoker, you might need antibiotics though, and sometimes oral cortisone. Some people need oxygen.
