Scottsdale Shea Medical Center has 427 beds, women’s services, a dedicated pediatric emergency department, a pediatric ICU, and a Level III neonatal ICU. After earning his medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago in 1984, Dr. Soiya went on to further his training. He performed his residency in internal medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and Illinois, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
