Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

On a more personal note, Dr. Orbe is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Dr.  Orbe focuses on delivering compassionate and supportive care especially during a time where most people have been impacted by the Corona Virus Pandemic.  With mental health issues being on the rise, Dr. Orbe finds it imperative to remain hopeful and help patients tap into their resiliency.  Her goal is to always widen her scope of practice by emphasizing the importance of  diversity and inclusion which would mean helping patients of different backgrounds, ages including but not limited to the LGBTQIA+ community.
