Dr. Crye brings a wealth of experience and expertise in minimally invasive procedures of the chest, with a focus on robotic surgery and the treatment of lung and esophageal cancers.
Dr. Crye’s impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Syracuse University and a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. He further honed his skills through a residency and fellowship in thoracic surgery at Allegheny Health Network Medical Education Consortium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, completing his training in 2017.
Board certified in general surgery and thoracic and cardiac surgery by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Crye is recognized for his proficiency in utilizing advanced technologies such as the da Vinci robotic surgical system for minimally invasive procedures. Prior to joining MVHS, he served as a thoracic surgical oncologist in collaboration with Upstate University Hospital and Crouse in Syracuse, New York, where he gained extensive experience in the surgical management of thoracic malignancies.
