Dr. Khavar Dar is a board-certified internist who provides specialized care for pulmonary disease, critical care, hypertension and exercise. In 1983, he received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Punjab, Pakistan. He went on to complete his internship and residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and his fellowship at the prestigious Cornell University Medical College in New York City.
After practicing medicine in Odessa, TX for almost a decade, Dr. Dar started his medical clinic Odessa Medical Enterprises, where he partners with his staff to help patients achieve their health goals. He is affiliated with Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center and is a clinical associate professor at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. In 2016, Dr. Dar was named "Best Physician in the Permian Basin" by Odessa American voters and is the 2020 recipient of the Heritage of Odessa Community Statesman Award for health & science.
