Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. Salah Fares, who serves patients in Texas.

A practicing physician in the fields of pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and internal medicine, Dr. Fares is a part of the team of professionals at Millennium Physicians. He operates out of the offices located in Conroe and The Woodlands, Texas.

With over 40 physicians at 11 different locations in the Greater Houston area, Millennium Physicians is a multi-disciplinary medical group that offers a single source for patient healthcare needs. Academically, Dr. Fares graduated from the University of Tishreen in Syria in 2000. Years later, in 2004, he performed his residency in internal medicine at Damascus University, after which he moved to the United States where he completed an additional residency at Detroit Medical Center. He also pursued a fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, where he served as a Pulmonary Critical Care Chief Fellow from 2014 until 2015.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Named a Top Pulmonologist in 2021 by Top Doctors, Dr. Fares is affiliated with a number of hospitals and medical centers in Texas. In good standing with a number of professional organizations, he is an active member of the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Physicians.
