This was followed by a fellowship in neurotology/skull base surgery at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. 

A Fellow of the Triological Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology and neurotology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The organization serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification. 

Among her professional experience, Dr. Dinces is the Chairman of the Quality Improvement Committee at Montefiore Medical Center and an Associate Professor within the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her basic science research focuses on understanding how the brain processes sounds into meaningful language and includes auditory scene analysis in the elderly, sound intensity processing in children, and the development of auditory processing.
