Dr. Nazer is a highly skilled and respected gastroenterologist with Appalachian Gastroenterology, a Department of Beckley ARH Hospital in West Virginia. He has extensive experience in pancreatic disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and liver disease.

Additionally, Dr. Nazer served as President of Raleigh County Medical Society, Chief of Medical Staff at both Raleigh General Hospital and Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, and Chairman of Department of Medicine with both Raleigh General Hospital and Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, Chief of the Endoscopy Committee and Medical Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Known for his exceptional medical expertise and compassionate patient care, Dr. Nazer has dedicated his career to diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions while providing personalized healthcare services to his patients. He takes the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and works closely with them to develop a treatment plan that meets their individual needs.

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Nazer graduated with his Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in Egypt. He then relocated to the United States, performing his residency in internal medicine at University of Maryland and gastroenterology at the University of Louisville, Kentucky.

Subsequent to his training, the doctor attained board certification in gastroenterology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Nazer is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).
