  • How long should I take off work after liposuction?

    There is postoperative pain associated with liposuction and most patients take 7-14 days off of work. The time off of work my also depend on what time of work a patient does and might be longer if the patient has a labor intensive job. READ MORE

    Good liposuction to the back and flank area can get rid of back fat. It will not tighten the skin if there is also skin laxity. READ MORE

    There may be some very mild skin tightening after liposuction. There usually is more skin tightening with liposuction if your surgeon uses some sort of energy combined with the liposuction (i.e. ultrasound or laser). READ MORE

  • Will liposuction flatten my stomach?

    Liposuction will remove fat that is under the skin. The way a person's abdomen looks like is dependent on a few different things. One is the amount of fat under the skin. This is the "pinchable" fat. But there is also fat inside your abdominal cavity around your organs which can cause people to have a "rounded" look to their abdomen. Liposuction will no change that. Only exercise and healthy diet can do that. Another factor to the look of ones stomach is how strong ones abdominal muscles are. If they are not tone then they will allow your abdomen to look round and liposuction will no change that. READ MORE

  • What happens if you remove your breast implants?

    That is a tricky question. It depends on how large the implants are. If they are small then the only thing that changes is your bra size. If they are larger, some patients may need to have a lift done at the time the implants are removed. READ MORE
