Dr. Toltzis is a board-certified cardiologist currently affiliated with St. Elizabeth Physicians, seeing patients at their offices in Florence, Crestview Hills, and Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He specializes in congenital heart disease, non-invasive cardiology, heart disease in pregnancy, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Toltzis graduated with his medical degree from Hahnemann University, and completed his internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatrics and his fellowship in cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Later, he returned to Brigham and Women’s Hospital to complete an additional fellowship in pediatric cardiology.
A member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, he is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Toltzis is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Heart Association.
