Hartford, Connecticut – Dr. Paul J. Schwartz serves as the Director of Neurosurgical Oncology and Skull Base Surgery at the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford Hospital. With extensive experience in treating complex brain and nervous system conditions, he is poised to lead advancements in patient care and surgical techniques at one of Connecticut’s premier healthcare institutions.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, Dr. Schwartz completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in 1998. Following his internship at Rutgers Health from 2002 to 2003, Dr. Schwartz completed a rigorous residency in neurological surgery at the same institution from 2003 to 2008.
