Dear Patient: Anal fissures and anal fistula are 2 different things. For what you mentioned, it sounds like a fistula. Bactrim (Sul/TMP) are not made to cover colonic flora, therefore, I doubt will help you; in fact, unless there is an abscess, rarely one can use Ab for this reason. Dear Patient: Gallstones can be dissolved, but just in a few cases; most of the time, when the symptoms starts, the only way to fix it is surgery. Does sex after surgery carry any risks?
Dear Patient: There are missing pieces of information: size of hernia, location, mesh or no mesh, age of the patient, and obviously when doing sex (there is a variety of intensity). In general terms, sexual activity should not be contra indicated after surgery, as long as you practice it safely, after surgery.
