A board-certified physician, Dr. Farooqi has over 10 years experience in the field of internal medicine. She joined Longstreet Clinic in Gainesville, Georgia in July of 2019.
The internists at Longstreet Clinic are experienced in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of most medical conditions which commonly arise from late adolescence through the geriatric years. Graduating with her medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in 2003, Dr. Farooqi went on to perform her residency in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo in 2011.
Years later, in 2018, she attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
