Dr. Michelle Kelman is a passionate Pediatric Dentist who strives to provide exceptional oral healthcare in a nurturing, positive, and informative environment. In 2008, Dr. Kelman established the Pediatric Dental Center at Cedars-Sinai, where she currently serves as a member of the medical-surgical staff. She is also a lecturer at the UCLA School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatrics, where she supervises, attends, and teaches residents. Dr. Kelman is a native Californian who received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, Dr. Kelman was recognized with the USC Behavioral Dentistry Award for Outstanding Humanistic Qualities in the Treatment of Patients and the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Pediatric Dentistry. Following this, she completed her residency specialty training in Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in association with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Kelman's expertise in pediatric and adolescent dentistry for healthy children and those with complex medical histories has led her to be a part of the Pediatric Surgical Team and Craniofacial Team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She has also lectured internationally on advancements in pediatric dentistry and behavior management techniques. Dr. Kelman has led educational workshops for colleagues and parent groups on a variety of topics, including infant oral health, pacifier and bottle weaning, oral health care for children and adults with special needs, and teenage oral health and wellness. Dr. Kelman is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. She is also committed to community outreach and has presented numerous pediatric oral healthcare presentations to community groups and healthcare professionals throughout the country. In addition to her extensive experience and accolades, Dr. Kelman is dedicated to introducing complementary and alternative therapies for her patients' health needs. She believes in utilizing the latest equipment technology and natural methods to provide the best possible care for her patients. Dr. Michelle Kelman's commitment to exceptional oral healthcare for children and adolescents is evident in her work, and she continues to be a leader in her field.
