Subsequently, he received his medical degree from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and the Free University of Brussels in 1976. He then completed training in general surgery at Bronx Municipal Hospital and Methodist Hospital, and his training in plastic surgery at Albany Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital from 1979 to 1982.
Honing his skills, he is board-certified through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Zeichner is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Florida Medical Association.
