Get to know Family Physician Dr. Mary S. Nguyen, who serves patients in Castroville, Texas.

A board-certified family physician, Dr. Nguyen tends to patients at her private practice – Medina Valley Family Practice – in Castroville, Texas.

Graduating magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in 1992, she went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio in 1997. Finally, she completed her residency in family medicine at CHRISTUS Health Santa Rosa in 2000.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Professionally, Dr. Nguyen is a proud member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, Association of Cannabinoid Specialists, the Texas Medical Association, and the Bexar County Medical Society.

In addition to her clinical role, she serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine.
