Continuing her Legacy of Exceptional Eye Care

A Texas native, Dr. Moon has dedicated her career to caring for patients in Plano since receiving her license in 1996. As the Owner of Lakeside Vision and Optical, she treats all diseases of the eye and manages eye injuries, ensuring her patients receive the highest level of care.

Graduating summa cum laude of the University of Houston College of Optometry, she was recognized with multiple Letters of Excellence during her clinical rotations and honored with the Bausch and Lomb Contact Lens Excellence Award. Additionally, she is a proud honor graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Her commitment to advancing her skills led her to become an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, allowing her to provide comprehensive eye care, including the treatment of glaucoma, difficult contact lens fittings, and LASIK management.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Moon serves as a Delegate of the American Board of Optometry, a prestigious designation awarded to a select group of optometrists who have successfully completed rigorous qualifications. She is also an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and has served as Past President of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society.

Among her other roles, she is a Past President of the Plano Metro Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary International. Additionally, she contributes to the PISD Career Education Advisory Council, providing valuable opportunities for student interns in the Clinical Education Program.

When she is not working, Dr. Moon enjoys a variety of activities including travel, weight training, scuba diving, yoga, biking, and hiking. She cherishes spending time with family, friends, and her beloved Great Danes, Henry and Chloe.
