Get to know Pain Management Specialist Dr. Keith Cassidy Raziano, who serves patients throughout the State of Georgia.
Dr. Raziano is the CEO and Managing Director of The Physicians Spine & Rehabilitation Specialists and has been practicing medicine for over 18 years. He is currently based in their Sandy Springs and Stockbridge offices.
As Georgia’s first private practice pain management group, with 25 years of experience, The Physicians Spine and Rehabilitation Specialists provides innovative, effective and comprehensive treatment of pain with special emphasis on spinal pain and care of the injured worker. They strive to improve their patients’ quality of life and restore function to individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
Regarding his educational background, Dr. Raziano received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Miami and his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he served as a Teaching Assistant. He completed his surgical internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and completed residency training at Emory University Hospital, where he was Chief Resident.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in pain medicine, and physical medicine & rehabilitation through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, which was established in 1947 as the certifying body for the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation under the American Board of Medical Specialties.
With a passion for teaching, Dr. Raziano serves as an Associate Clinical Professor within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University. He has served as a national instructor, consultant, and lecturer for several organizations, including Medtronic, Georgia State University, and The Shepherd Center.
Among his other roles, he has served as Medical Director for the Back in Action Program and has volunteered his expertise as a Physician Evaluator for the Special Olympics and other athletic teams.
