Dr. Wei earned his Medical Degree from Binzhou Medical University in China, graduating with the class of 1987. He then pursed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Long School of Medicine – UT Health San Antonio from 2011-2015, followed by an additional residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he honed his skills from 2013 to 2017.

His commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is evident in his board certifications in anatomic and clinical pathology, as well as in cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology.
