He then went on to earn both his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Clinical Psychology degrees from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2013 and 2018, respectively.
Subsequently, he completed a predoctoral internship training at BaySide NeuroRehab Services in Portland, Maine with an emphasis on clinical neuropsychological assessment for brain-injured populations. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Northwest Biofeedback Center.
Professionally, Dr. Thompson has worked in a range of settings, including private practices, hospitals, and community mental health centers, providing neuropsychological evaluations, psychotherapy, qEEG brain mapping, and neurofeedback services. He has also lectured on the effects of substance abuse on brain functioning while on staff at Ascension Holy Family.
