Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Laleh Rezaei, who serves patients in New Albany, Indiana.

Dr. Rezaei is a caring, board-certified pediatrician at Complete Pediatrics And Specialty Care in New Albany, Indiana. She and her team work diligently to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for children, adolescents, and expectant mothers.

They have years of experience diagnosing and treating ADHD, asthma, GI issues, and pediatric infections, as well as providing specialized treatments such as ear molding. They also provide functional medicine, believing that restoring nutritional and biochemical balance in the body can be a critical step in helping patients achieve life-long wellness.

In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Rezaei served as Chief of Pediatrics for two years at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. She is pursuing a fellowship from the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM), preparing for her IFM board certification exam.

Listed in the Global Directory of Who’s Who and in the Trademark Top Doctors of America, she is a member of several medical professional associations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the Kentucky Medical Association. 

Academically, Dr. Rezaei began her medical career as an undergraduate student at Macon College in Georgia where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. She continued on to the University of Georgia in Athens where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. 

Prior to enrolling in medical school, she worked as a registered nurse in pediatrics, adult intensive care, and open heart unit. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky in 1999, where she went on to complete her residency in pediatrics.

Passionate about her profession, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all their developmental stages, as they grow and mature. 

In her spare time, Dr. Rezaei enjoys reading and spending time with her two sons.
