Get to know Dentist Dr. Tanya Orr, who serves patients in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Dr. Orr is a second-generation dentist who provides exceptional care for her patients at her private practice – Gentle Breeze Family Dentistry – in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. She approaches dental care by treating each of her patients as she would a member of her own family. She strives to make patients feel comfortable and informed and to provide them with beautiful smiles and good oral health by using the best tools and techniques in modern dentistry.

The doctor is highly skilled in a wide range of dental specialties, including restorative and aesthetic dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, the placement and restoration of dental implants, Invisalign®, and various oral surgery procedures. She is also trained in measuring unbalanced bites with Tekscan® computerized bite analysis and in the use of two major endodontic systems: Tulsa Dentsply GT File and LightSpeed with Simplifill™.

Since 1989, Dr. Orr has dedicated herself to providing her patients with quality dental care for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles. She was first introduced to dentistry by her mother, a practicing dentist for 35 years. After being a dentist in Russia for over six years, she relocated to the United States and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She then went on to complete her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the same educational venue.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Outside of her work at Gentle Breeze Family Dentistry, Dr. Orr enjoys spending time with her lively daughter and her rescue dog, Shae.
