Dr. Barnhart is a respected obstetrician-gynecologist whose special interests include all aspects of obstetrics, infertility, and adolescent health, as well as minimally invasive gynecologic procedures such as total laparoscopic hysterectomy, operative hysteroscopy, tubal sterilization, and endometrial ablation. Growing up in Northeast Ohio outside of Warren, Dr. Barnhart graduated from Bristol High School in 1992 as valedictorian of her class. She then attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University where she double majored in Biology and Medical Technology. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Wanting to further her education, she moved to Indianapolis where she performed her internship and residency at the Indiana University Medical Center where she was the Administrative Chief Resident. In 2009, she moved to Lancaster with her family to join Drs. Froman and Santino.
Passionate about providing quality women’s health care, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
