Hampton lll, MD, FACP, FACCP is a board-certified Pulmonologist currently serving his patients in Little Rock, Arizona. With over 50 years of experience in his field, Dr. Hampton has extensive knowledge and unrivaled expertise in pulmonary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, and critical care. In regards to his education, Dr. Hampton earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1968. He then went on to complete his internship with the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, followed by his residency in internal medicine with the Keesler Medical Center. Furthering his education, he also completed his fellowship in pulmonary disease at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Among his many accomplishments, from 1967 to 2003, Dr. Hampton served in the U.S. military as a flight surgeon. On a more personal note, Dr. Hampton attributes his success to the fact that he had always wanted to become a doctor. When he was a child, there was a polio outbreak and it was then that he realized that he wanted to be someone who could help others when he grew up.
