    You seem to be having severe anxiety, but why did your prescriber stop your meds. I would advise you to talk to them since they have a history with them. If you are not satisfied I would recommend you see a new prescriber since you don't seem to be doing well from the history you report.     First of all you need to find out why and what is causing you to be depressed there could be medical reasons which needs to be ruled out before you get treated with medicine and if you need treatment you might want to look into counseling first and then your counselor should be able to tell you whether you need medication. If you want to bypass the counselor you could set up an appointment with a psychiatrist who should be able to identify the cause of your depression and if you need medications.     You have to be committed to quit drinking and a psychiatrist can give you meds to decrease the craving or alcohol to have less effects or some of them cause you to have severe reaction if you were to use any alcoholic products, not only drinking you could have a reaction to perfume, cough medicine with alcohol or even your mouth wash with alcohol in it. I also believe in AA and you got to be committed to quit if you are ambivalent it is not going to work or you have been coerced to be in treatment by the law, you will not have a better outcome than if you are committed to stay sober.
