An expert in the fields of hormone optimization for men and women and sexual health, Dr. Peet’s office is the first in the world to have diVa™ by Sciton®, a Hybrid Fractional Laser to rejuvenate vaginal tissue to a younger, vital state. Vaginal changes occur after childbirth, with aging, and after menopause. diVa™ vaginal rejuvenation tightens the vaginal canal, making it more like it was pre-pregnancy. For women with vaginal dryness, thinning tissue, inflammation or painful intercourse, the diVa™ laser treatment increases lubrication, enhances sensation, decreases pain, and improves the sexual response. The laser also offers a nonsurgical approach to treating stress urinary incontinence.
Before the start of his medical career, Dr. Peet obtained his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1992 and his medical degree from The Texas A&M Health Science Center in 1996. From there, he went on to complete his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple in 1997 and 2000, respectively.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Montgomery County Medical Society, the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Furthermore, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
