Dr. Dohm-Palmer is a respected obstetrician-gynecologist whose special interests include delivering babies, minimally-invasive surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy, in-office procedures such as ESSURE and Novasure, and sub-urethral slings to treat urinary incontinence. She is affiliated with Northfield Hospital & Clinics, seeing women and adolescent patients at the following locations: Farmington Clinic, Surgery Center, The Birth Center, and Women’s Health Center – Northfield.
“I see myself as a partner with my patients to optimize health, choose treatments for problems and promote healthy pregnancies for both moms and babies” expressed Dr. Dohm-Palmer. She comes to Women’s Health Center from United and Abbott Northwestern Hospitals, where she was an emergency obstetrician.
Graduating with her undergraduate degree from Carleton College, she went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Furthering her training, she performed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Dohm-Palmer learned early on that medicine allows her to apply her love of science with people. “I am an extrovert at heart and love people. The most rewarding part of medicine is that I get to establish life-long relationships with my patients and positively impact their lives” she said.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
