Among her prior affiliations, she was an attending physician with Family Care Partners in Argyle Forest and Orange Park, and served as a military physician in the Internal Medicine Department at Naval Air Station Hospital Jacksonville until her obligated service was completed in December 2006. During her navy career, she has toured the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake, California; Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia; and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
