Originally hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Osceola, Arkansas, Dr. Gandhi's fascination with neurological science began during his high school years. He honed his academic prowess at the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. His early research contributions in pharmacology and cell signaling have led to multiple publications, establishing a strong foundation for his future endeavors.

Dr. Gandhi earned both his Medical Degree and Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. His research focused on critical areas such as brain energy metabolism, biochemistry, functional brain imaging, and glial-neuronal signaling, culminating in significant international presentations and contributions to the Journal of Neurochemistry.

Completing his neurosurgical training at the University of Arkansas, Dr. Gandhi has specialized in cranial and spine surgery. His expertise encompasses complex spine and spinal deformity surgery, as well as advanced minimally invasive techniques. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like O-arm based intraoperative navigation and Mazor X robotic surgery, he provides comprehensive treatment for a wide array of cranial and spinal conditions with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Dr. Gandhi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Arkansas Medical Association, the Pulaski County Medical Society, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. His dedication to these associations underscores his commitment to advancing the field of neurological surgery and staying at the forefront of medical innovation.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Gandhi enjoys spending quality time with his family, including his wife, Cindy Gandhi, a general surgeon, and their three children. His personal interests include cooking, traveling, hiking, and biking, reflecting his well-rounded approach to life.
