If you have existing decay in a tooth, the way to get rid of it is to visit a dentist and have them remove decay and do a filling. If that seems unappealing, you can have the tooth extracted. Once a tooth has decay, it is not reversible. READ MORE

No. You arrive at office and the endodontist will numb you up and drill a small hole through the bone around tooth root and clean it out. The whole procedure should take no more than 90 minutes. Like so many other things, it depends. If you are a healthy person and the implant was placed into healthy bone, it can be as short as 3 months.
