Currently serving as the Medical Director of Orthopedics at Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group, Dr. Havenhill operates out of offices in Crystal Lake and Huntley, Illinois. His affiliations extend to Huntley Hospital, McHenry Hospital, and Woodstock Hospital. 

In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Havenhill holds the role of Health System Clinician in the Department of Orthopaedics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

His acclaimed career in medicine began at Columbia University Roy and Diana Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1999. Dr. Havenhill then went on to perform his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Chicago in 2004, followed by his fellowship in hand surgery at Washington University/B-JH/SLCH Consortium in 2005.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery and surgery of the hand, the doctor holds the designation of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Havenhill is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
