Get to know Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Viviana Sirven, who serves patients in Miami, Florida.

Board-certified allergist and immunologist, Dr. Sirven, specializes in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology. She has been in practice for 20 years and leads the expert medical team at Sirven & Associates Allergy and Asthma Center in Miami, Florida.

Patients of all ages suffering from asthma, food allergies, seasonal or latex allergies, stinging insect allergies, and medication allergies, as well as rhinitis, sinus problems, hives, or eczema, can turn to Dr. Sirven and her expert team for premium care. They treat patients like family and offer compassionate, state-of-the-art treatment in a warm, friendly environment. 

Born in Cuba, Dr. Sirven obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Universidad Autónoma de Centro America in Costa Rica. Upon graduation, she completed a residency in pediatrics, and later, a fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. 

Demonstrating expertise in all areas of her field, she is board-certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). The mission of the ABAI is to improve the quality of medical care by the development and utilization of professional and educational standards for the initial certification and maintenance of certification of physician specialists in allergy and immunology. 

In direct affiliation with her industry, Dr. Sirven is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

Allergy and immunology involve the management of disorders related to the immune system. These conditions range from the very common to the very rare, spanning all ages and encompassing various organ systems. An allergist / immunologist is a physician specially trained to diagnose, treat, and manage allergies, asthma, and immunologic disorders, including primary immunodeficiency disorders.

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Sirven has been the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2015, 2018), and Patients’ Choice 5th Anniversary Award (2015).
